A group of women came today with their children. One of the babies is 4 months old. Nancy noticed that he does not have head control and his eyes would not focus. He is blind with gross motor deficits. The family does not have the money to go to Santiago to a specialist. He does eat well, but is not really developing past infanthood. We pray that this mother (with 5 other children) can care for him, and that God will bring on one of the trips someone who can teach her how to care for him, to strengthen his legs, essentially do what The Bell Center does at home.
