Super Cindy
Cindy Traylor orchestrated the crafts for VBS. That was a large undertaking. The first day was quite involved. A glue outline of created things was on cardboard, then tin foil placed on that, then colored with majic markers. They were really beautiful.
The next day, they did a string type craft that I really can’t explain. I am craft-impaired.
Cindy had cut out crosses, then they glued tissue paper on it like a kaleidescope. They were awesome.
Friday they made necklaces and bracelets, like the beads that tell the Gospel. They also received Frisbees with the Gospel.
Cindy was a servant, by making the crafts, then she allowed the kids to lead the time with the kids. That was a real highlight to see kids everywhere working diligently.
The crafts really lent to relational time with all the kids. They worked so well as a team. Some kids showed leadership by organizing. Several are quite artistic. It was such a blessing to have the crafts the kids had created. Many thanks to Cindy who was such a vital behind-the-scenes member of the team. She is an example of a quiet, behind-the-scenes steadfast laborer; not seeking the applause of men but of the Lord.
